THE NEW HORIZON SINGERS
CHOSEN CHARITY

All donations The New Horizon Singers receive go towards our chosen charity.

Now in it's seventh year, we are continuing our support of
Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment.

Since December 2002 The New Horizon Singers have raised money through our concerts and sing-outs for the Charity S.U.R.E which has aimed to buy the most up to date equipment needed at the new Beacon Centre at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, Somerset.

To date the Choir has raised £21,000 for the Charity, and choir members were delighted to be present on Wednesday 6th May 2009 at the opening together with Eric Saffin (pictured on the far left) who has worked tirelessly for the Charity.

After years of hard work and commitment, Taunton's dedicated cancer unit has now opened its doors to the public. Hundreds of people crowded into the state-of-the-art Cancer Centre for its open day. It is anticipated that this will be a centre of excellence in Somerset for cancer services, ending the need for patients to travel to Bristol for their radiotherapy treatment.
